Thanks to a twitter pal for tipping me off to this waffle-knit sweater from Japan. Filson makes a cotton version but I much prefer wool for layerable, lightweight warmth. Available via Rakuten Global Market (alas, there doesn’t appear to be sizing for women).
Have you bought one? I’m curious about the fit (I see the measurements but the fit from Japan is always questionable). Also it seems the off-white is a mite see-through!
I haven’t tried one (they don’t sell a version for women). I would assume that the fit is slim and on the short size (which works for a monkey fit baselayer like this). What is your typical size in menswear? I’d size up.
