Working from home, I have zero need to update my wardrobe. All summer, I’ve slipped into a sloppy fitting uniform of nautical tops, Orslow trousers, cardigans and Birkestock slides. In my mirror-facing paper doll pose, I vaguely resemble one of the unisex models from my fave Rakuten shop, Takanna. For fall, I’m considering a few new acquisitions including one of these Engineered Garments cover and/or shoulder vests. I like how they neatly merge the functionality of a pencil pouch with the carry away ease of a waist pack. In effect: EG has designed the perfect synthesis of desk drawer and field bag. Wow, awesome vest/half. Not sure if I could wear that in NYC, they might think I’m packin’ heat!
