Here’s a gorgeous pair of Danner “Deck Shoes” that I spotted on a Japanese auction site. These are from the Danner’s Stumptown collection which is only available in Japan. Browsing the Danner Japan web shop, I’m struck by how many of the trad Danner styles come in a low top model. I’ll add a few snaps of my favorite models below for reference. Practically speaking, I’m not sure I’d opt for these over a pair with more ankle support but I love the unique looks of a chopped down boot/shoe.
