Shopping from the Past:Hunting World Apparel & Accessories, 1996

I think Bob Lee may have passed away but I remain a huge fan of his catalog persona (and original line of hunting clothing and stormcoats… usually made by top US and UK vendors). In every Hunting World catalog I own, Bob is dressed as I would like to dress if I were shooting skeet with the Prince of Monaco, riding a camel in Mongolia or fly fishing in Argentina. In some ways, HW seems to be lost as a brand now that Bob is no longer around to curate and control the company’s product offerings. Last time I checked the Hunting World website, I was frightened by all the offshoot styles and patterns (medallic tweed, mystical shade, at ease diamond, crossing, encompass jacquard).
