What are your expectations for an iconic brand collaboration? In the case of Barbour x Engineered Garments, I’m looking for more of a Shackleton crackup, corduroy collar meets crazy pocketing. These jackets are a little subdued for my tastes, a too polite exchange of zippers, snaps & fabric.

I know this is late, but I just scored the Arthur gillet in navy. It’s replacing a Filson Black Label vest that I got too tubby for. It has a poacher pocket that was a pleasant surprise, wish it had handwarmer pockets however. Plan on wearing it over hefty knits, like a Stark cardigan or a Arcteyx shell when it rains.
